# Why is my balance not showing?

> A missing balance is usually a sync delay, the wrong network, or a token that's hidden or not added. Check these causes in order to find yours.

Most missing balances are a short sync delay: pull down on the **Wallet** tab to refresh. If the balance still doesn't show, check these causes in order.

## The transfer hasn't confirmed yet

A balance changes only after the network confirms the transfer. If your transaction is still pending, see [Pending or stuck transactions](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/pending-transactions). If you're waiting for someone else's transfer, see [Why hasn't my transfer arrived?](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/transfer-not-arrived)

## You're looking at another network

Crypto shows on the network it was sent on. USDT on BNB Chain doesn't show under Ethereum, for example, even though your address is the same on both. If it was sent on a network you didn't expect, see [I sent crypto on the wrong network](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/sent-on-the-wrong-network).

## Your asset list is filtered

- The network icon at the top right of the **Wallet** tab filters your assets by network. If it shows one network, tap it and choose **All networks**.
- **Hide small and inactive assets** hides assets below $1 with no recent activity. To see them, tap the settings icon above your asset list and turn it off.

The total at the top leaves out the assets that these filters hide.

## The token is hidden or not added

- FxWallet doesn't show every token on your home screen. Go to **Me** → **Assets Discovery** to find tokens that have a balance but aren't shown, and tap **Discover Assets** to add them. Tokens you've hidden are under **Hidden Tokens**.
- A token that FxWallet doesn't list needs its contract address. See [Add a custom token](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/add-tokens-and-networks#add-customized-token), and take the address only from the project's official website: scammers airdrop fake tokens with real names.

## The token has no value

FxWallet shows `--` instead of a value when it has no price for a token, and the amount is still right. A token you didn't buy is probably a spam airdrop: ignore it, and don't open its links. For a token you bought, check its contract address on the project's official website: you may have bought a fake with the same name. See [Fake tokens, spam airdrops and trading scams](https://docs.fxwallet.com/security-and-scams/fake-tokens-and-offline-trading-scams).

## A transaction is missing from the history

On networks where FxWallet detects spam, it hides spam airdrops and phishing transactions from the history. To see them, tap the coin on the **Wallet** tab, tap the settings icon in its transaction list, and turn off **Hide Spam Transactions**.

## Still missing?

Look up your address in a block explorer for the network. If the explorer shows the balance, your crypto is safe on the blockchain, and FxWallet shows it once it syncs: restart the app and pull down to refresh. If FxWallet says "Network response error on …", see [If FxWallet can't reach a network](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/add-tokens-and-networks#if-fxwallet-cant-reach-a-network). If it still doesn't show, [contact support](https://docs.fxwallet.com/contact-and-legal/contact-support) with your wallet address and the transaction hash (TXID).
