To send crypto, tap the coin or token on the **Wallet** tab, tap **Send**, enter the address and the amount, then tap **Next Step** and confirm. A transfer can't be reversed, so check the points below before you confirm.

## Check before you send

- **The network.** The recipient must support the network you send on. When you send to an exchange, use the network its deposit page shows for this coin. See [I sent crypto on the wrong network](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/sent-on-the-wrong-network).
- **The address.** Compare the whole address with the one the recipient gave you, not only the first and last characters. Scammers send tiny amounts from addresses that look like ones you use, hoping you'll copy the wrong one from your history.
- **The memo.** If an exchange gave you a memo or a destination tag, the transfer needs it. See [Memo and destination tag](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/memo).
- **The network's own rules.** Some networks make every account keep part of its balance, or charge to activate a new address, so you may not be able to send everything. See [Network rules FAQ](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/network-rules).
- **Not a contract address.** Don't send tokens to a token's own contract address. A contract has no private key, so tokens sent to it usually can't be returned.

## Send

1. On the **Wallet** tab, tap the coin or token, then tap **Send**.
2. Enter the address: paste it, scan its QR code, or tap the address book icon in the address field to pick a saved address or one of **My wallet**.
3. Enter the amount, and the **Memo** if the recipient needs one.
4. Tap **Next Step**, check the details and the network fee, then tap **Confirm**.

On EVM networks, FxWallet checks the address and shows tags under it: **New Counterpart** means it's your first transfer to that address, and **High Risk** means the address has been flagged. If FxWallet says "The recipient account has been flagged as risky. Do you wish to continue?", don't continue unless you're certain.

## Fees

You pay the network fee in the network's native coin, such as ETH on Ethereum, or with a Gas Card. On some EVM networks you can pay it with a token instead. See [Gas fees and Gas Card](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/gas-fees), or [Not enough gas for a transaction](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/not-enough-gas) if you can't pay it.

## After you send

The transfer shows as pending in the coin's history until the network confirms it. If it doesn't arrive, see [Why hasn't my transfer arrived?](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/transfer-not-arrived)
