A Crypto Gift is crypto that other people claim with a gift code. To create or claim one, tap **More** → **Crypto Gifts** on the **Wallet** tab. Gifts work on EVM networks, and FxWallet shows the coins you can use when you create one.

## Who can claim my gift?

Anyone who has the gift code, the link or the QR code, once per wallet. Share them only with the people the gift is for. Gift codes are case-sensitive.

## What does a gift cost?

Creating and claiming a gift are both blockchain transactions, so each pays a network fee, which you can pay with a Gas Card. For a gift of a token rather than a network's coin, FxWallet may first ask you to approve the gift contract to use the token, which is a second transaction. See [Token approvals](https://docs.fxwallet.com/wallet/token-approvals).

## What happens to crypto that nobody claims?

It stays in the gift until you take it back: FxWallet doesn't return it on its own. Every gift expires at the time shown as **Expires On**, and then it's marked **Reclaimable**. To take the crypto back, open the gift under **History** → **Sent**, and under **Unclaimed Funds**, tap **Reclaim**. Reclaiming pays a network fee too.

To be told when a gift can be reclaimed, turn on **Reclaim** in **Me** → **System Notification** → **Crypto Gifts**.

## Why can't I see my gift's code?

The code is saved only on the phone you created the gift on. On another phone you can see the gift, but not its code.

## Why doesn't a gift code work?

FxWallet tells you why: the code doesn't exist, the gift has expired, or all of its gifts have been claimed. Each wallet can claim a gift once, and claiming needs a little of the network's native coin for gas, or a Gas Card.

## Why don't I see Crypto Gifts?

Your current wallet has no EVM network. Switch to a wallet that has one.
